Where to start...
Most of my engagements begin as something small — a review, a day, a handful of sessions. Someone notices something isn't working and wants a hand identifying it. Three versions come up often.
Free, no obligation. If it isn't the right shape, I'll say so.
The one-flow review
Checkout, sign-up, onboarding, a quote request. I take the one you're worried about and go through it properly, end to end. You get back a prioritised list of what I'd change and why, worst first.
I did this at GlycanAge with their checkout, and at Purple with SplashPages.
Spencer helped us to simplify and improve our sales and checkout process – dramatically reducing funnel loss, increasing sales and reducing related support queries to zero.

A day, or half a day
A day with the people who do the work in the room, going through things end to end until everyone is seeing the same picture. There's a shorter version too — half a day highlighting what you know and what you're guessing, ending with a list of assumptions and what's worth testing first.
If you're in the middle of an AI rollout, there's a specific version of this day for that.
I've delivered an NHS service-design project, ending with a service blueprint — and the same again at a TV production software company. I've run workshops for unicorn start-ups, banks, charities, government organisations and most recently, a department-wide alignment day at Purple.
In one 90 minute intro session for our clients he turned a room of sceptics into advocates.

A block of coaching
A fixed block of sessions with a product or design person who is ready for more than their job title currently allows. It's the one that keeps paying for itself after I've gone.
At GlycanAge, their first designer grew into Head of Design and then took the CPO role over from me. Elsewhere, someone who was UX-curious built a service blueprint and became a service-design-focused product manager. At Purple, a junior product manager, alongside the interim work.
He is the person I turn to first when seeking advice.

Not sure which of these fits?
That's what the free call is for. Tell me what's going on and I'll say honestly which one fits, if any.
Interim and fractional
Filling a leadership gap when it opens, usually at short notice.
At Purple, I covered an interim Senior Product Manager role for 13 months, with the senior PM and the CPO both away at the same time — the roadmap kept moving throughout. At GlycanAge, around four years of work ended with me as interim CPO.
If that's the situation you're in, it's still the same 30-minute call to start with — there isn't a separate process for this one.
Spencer joined us as an interim Product Owner during a critical period... Stepping into a mid-flight roadmap is never easy, but he hit the ground running... ensured that development momentum didn't drop for a second.

If none of these is quite what you had in mind, it's still worth half an hour. Most of my work starts with someone describing a problem, and us working out the likely cause and how to start fixing it.
Does any of that sound familiar?
The best place to start is a conversation. No agenda — just a call to see if it makes sense.
The Tap.
Drink from the Tap, not the firehose. Monthly notes from inside the work. One anonymised story from a real engagement. No five-tips, no slop, no false FOMO 'urgency'.
